We use full-grain 7-8 oz. leather.  We’re proud to offer the highest quality of leather types and the thickness works perfectly for the production of harnesses.  Any thinner and the leather gets pulled and warped by the tension of opposing straps.  Any thicker and the leather becomes uncomfortable for the wearer and refuses to shape to their body.
